Updates

So things on this end have been hectic but everything with Baby Dub #2 has been going great. i feel good (just tired) and have had no complications. Last time we went to the dr he was measuring at exactally 1 lb and all functions were normal :) still has a due date of 2/24/11

Sigh...

So i know it's been forever since i posted anything on here. My apologies...
Things that have been going on:

• Lex can count pretty much to 10 with help, he skips numbers, if he does it himself you get 1, 4, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10! But he'll repeat after you if you prompt him
• He knows his alphabet with a few exceptions (he might think a y and v are the same...i can see that :) )
• he will sing (or try to sing) with songs
• took the side of the crib off so he can get in and out of bed himself
• sort of working on potty training, he will ask you to use the potty sometimes...on any given day he'll maybe pee 4-5 times in the toilet
• Mickey Mouse is his favorite show...we hear...MICKEY MOUSE! on a daily basis.

he's so cute...it's amazing to see what new thing he will come up with next...thing we didn't even teach him (somehow he knows what bikes are).

Dr Visit

Lex went to the Dr yesterday for his 18 month check up. He's actually almost 19 months, we're a little behind for whatever reason. But he was 33 1/8 inches tall and almost 30 lbs :) he's getting so big...and impressed the dr again with his talking. He said it was the highlight of his day (but he probably says that to every kid!)

Summer '10

So here are some pictures from our adventures this summer. We went to massanutten with the family (Mi Mi, Grandpop, Pop-Pop, Bobby and MarySusan). Lex had a blast in the pool. Then we went to Duck, NC for a few days...Lex had to get used to the sand...and wasn't a fan of the ocean :)

Ok i have no idea what happened to the blog...for some reason the new background isn't showing up...and I can't figure out how to get rid of the other one...please bear with me as I have no idea how to edit html... :(

Oops!

It occurred to me that I never put up Lex's stats from his 15 month visit back in the beginning of June. Bad mommy!
so here they are:
Height: 31 1/2
Weight: 23 lbs 10 oz

He is in the 50% for everything...and the Dr was super impressed with him because he can point out at least 5 of his body parts (which he said was a 2 yr benchmark) and he can probably say 30 words. Yay Lex!
