7 weeks

Lex started smiling at people last week and today he halfway turned over (I started him off on his tummy with his arms under him, but he got his leg working and his hip up and did the rest)! So we're moving right along...waiting to see what the dr says in a few weeks about how he's doing :)

6 Weeks

We're starting Lex's 6th week alive :) here are some pictures I took yesterday 3/23. He was up most of the day yesterday, he only slept about 3 hrs total...BUT that meant that he slept from 9-1 and then from about 1:30-4:45...YAY! Hopefully that is a habit that will continue...

Week 5

So Lex is 5 weeks old...still not really sleeping a lot at one time, although last night he did make it from 10:30ish to 2 something so that's good...hopefully he turned the corner and can do with only one night time feeding...

dr visit

Went to the Dr today, Lex is 11 lbs 3 oz and 21 3/4 inches long so he's growing like crazy :) He got his 2nd Hepatitis shot and was not happy about that...but survived :) we go back at 2 months...

Bathtime!

This is actually not Lex's first bath but it is difficult to bathe an infant and take pictures soooo...I took advantage of Grandma Vito being in town. So this is actually his 3rd bath :) started out ok he doesn't really mind it, but then got a little dicy. then back to being ok :)

One Month Old!

I couldn't do this yesterday because someone wanted to stay awake ALL DAY...so I'm a day late and don't have any pictures BUT Lex is one month old yesterday! I can't believe that it's already been a month...time flies. I'll be posting some more pictures soon...

Explanation

It occurred to me that I might need to explain what Baby Dub means. Some people know, but others may not. It is simply our nicknames, if you notice the website for the blog is The Dubs. Chris has been using them for awhile for his brother and dad. Since we are the Wiatts if you phonetically spell W, (Dub-a-u) and take the first syllable Dub-you get the Dubs. Chris is C dub, I am MV Dub and Lex is Baby Dub :) so that's the story...hope it makes more sense!

First Snow

Well the weather people got it right and we got a snow storm last night. Probably the first good snowfall in about 5 years in NN. Since Lex was up for a 3 am feeding Chris wanted to take him out while it was snowing and have him experience his first snowstorm. Then of course Pepper had to get in on the action too!
